Remembering Miss D

It is with great sadness in my heart that I write that we have lost our Miss D. I miss so many things about our daily care for her. She was such a joy to fix up pretty everyday. She loved her makeup and jewelry and her hair just so. The way she was always looking for me and when she would find me or see me come in a room she would say. "oh there you are" these words were always followed with an I love you. Watching her eyes light up when family came to visit and watching her stand at a window to wave goodbye. Or when helping her stand and walk to bed I would dance her around until she was all in giggles.
There are so many more memories but how do you pack our memories of 3 years into a  paragraph or two. I want to thank her family for giving us the opportunity to love and care for her. She was a blessing to all of us. Thank you again. It was an honor. I am so sorry for your loss. Our prayers are with you.

Happy 90th Birthday Miss D

I made Miss D's birthday cake. It turned out really pretty and it was yummy too. I think Miss D is so pretty. doesn't look 90 at all. Her kids and a bunch of her grandkids and great grand kids came. Was really nice and she was so happy to have them all there. All her great grandbabies drew and colored her a picture. Was really nice. She made of with a lot of goodies from candy to jewelry to clothes to cosmetics. Spoiled little lady I would say. And very loved.

Welcome to our home! In these pages are some of the fun memories with your loved ones.

Thank you so much for sharing them with us and intrusting them into our care. They are very dear to our hearts. We laugh together and cry together and Praise God together.

We are happy to serve our community here in Michigan. We take private and state pay residents ages 60 and up. This is God's home and it has been dedicated to Him in loving service.

We are a family here. Your loved ones come be in a family setting instead of a formal home. Stop in for a visit and see what we are like and get to know us a bit.

We also have family worship which they are welcome to attend if they choose. With singing and guitar.
May God richly bless all of you, and maranatha! Jesus is coming!
