Our church family was praying too and 4 days later they called and asked us if we would mind coming for his appointments on Mon. , Wed., and Fri. instead. He came to church with us Sabbath. It was a delight and we are so very happy. He just seemed to love it and participated in the discussion and everything in Sabbath School. We are so blessed. A missionary field in our home here. It is a privilege to serve these people that God has brought here.

Praising God Answers Prayer
When our new resident Mr. G moved in he expressed interest that he wanted to go to church with us. But he has appointments 3 days a week and they are scheduled for Tues. , Thurs. , and Sat. A couple of weeks ago my husband was talking to him on there way home and he again said that he wanted to go to church. My husband told him ok we are going to pray about it and if your appointments can be changed then you have to come. We had been on a waiting list and told that it took a long time for turn over.

A New Day
Yesterday we posted of Spring and today we are a winter wonderland. I just know that when Miss M gets up this morning she will have plenty of sadness for no sunbathing at the breakfast table.
Our crocus and tulips are buried for another day. The little birds are already busy at the feeders. Soon everyone will be rising and shining. I am off to make breakfast and get things set up for the day. Mr. G is already up and drinking his coffee and watching the news and I am sitting in the quiet of the other living room enjoying a moment of peace before the busyness begins.
Breakfast this morning is cream of wheat, toast and peaches. Everyone has their special little quirks about their meal and it is time to make each one special. I love my job and each person that God has brought here into our lives to love and care for. It is an honor.
I am off to the kitchen to start my day. Have a great day everyone.

Was a lovely day here in our home. Feels good to be back on here again after so long of not posting anything. We have had a full year this last year. We said goodbye to 3 of our residents and are looking forward to the resurrection morning when Jesus will call forth those that are sleeping till He comes.
We get so attached to the sweet people that come to bless our lives. I am truly grateful for every single resident that God has brought here. I wish you could all peak in here and see the fun that we have here. The laughter and love fills the house with so many memories.
Not saying that we don't have our days that are long and trying. I believe God gives us what we ask for and it is a servant like attitude that we carry with us. To love others and treat them the way we would want to be treated. Love and gentleness and kindness and longsuffering.
Make me a servant Lord is the theme of my heart.
Have a good night all and talk to you tomorrow.
Hey folks we have an empty bed here at Crystal Haven

Welcome to our home! In these pages are some of the fun memories with your loved ones.
Thank you so much for sharing them with us and intrusting them into our care. They are very dear to our hearts. We laugh together and cry together and Praise God together.
We are happy to serve our community here in Michigan. We take private and state pay residents ages 60 and up. This is God's home and it has been dedicated to Him in loving service.
We are a family here. Your loved ones come be in a family setting instead of a formal home. Stop in for a visit and see what we are like and get to know us a bit.
We also have family worship which they are welcome to attend if they choose. With singing and guitar.
May God richly bless all of you, and maranatha! Jesus is coming!
