Making Progress

Lol Just love watching Joe paint. poor guy is going to have achy knees. Looks really nice though.

Putting up the border. Just enough to to do two walles now i have to think of other tings I can do.

Getting the carpet pad laid down right. Carpet is in now too and all shampooed. Looks so nice.

Early Mornings and Country Breakfasts

Mr. G enjoying his morning cup of coffee even before he gets seated in his chair to watch the morning news.
They love these lil smokey Sausages
Miss D basking in some sunlight and her hot cup of coffee. Good for a chilly morning..
Poached Eggs and lil links and grapefruit. Its a hit every time.

Raising the floor in another room and sprucing things up a bit

Taking the carpets and pads out of Miss E's room and going to raise the floor up so there will not be a wheel chair ramp down into the room anymore. It will be so nice and much safer too.
Mr. G has really been enjoying helping. I think it is good for him to get out and be involved.
Getting the boards all cut. Good job guys!!!
Starting the building. My sweetie is just good. He does great work. This room will look so pretty when it is done.

Making Home Made Ice-cream

I have all the ingredients in and Joe is putting the ice and salt around to make some yummy cold goodness on this very warm day. A perfect way to end the day. They were all looking forward to it.
Mr. N waiting and patiently. Enjoying a good conversation and watching the birds. They were really busy out this evening. We discovered a Robins nest and will share that with you all soon. God is so good to fill our yard with all the sights an sounds of nature.
A few more waiting for the ice-cream and enjoying the warm evening!
Hows that for a table of fixings. We even have toasted pecans that i made yesterday to go on the top.
Miss D already consuming her first bite of goodness. She kept saying how yummy that it was.
Mr. N said it was the best homemade Ice-cream that he has ever had. He missed the old fashioned crank kind. I wonder how long we would have had to wait for Ice-cream if we had had to wait for him to crank it.
Miss E enjoying her  cold treat. She loved the chocolate.

Now that is what I am talking about. MMMMMMMMMMMMMM and its vegan too. So yummy and good and cold on a hot day. Want some?????

A pretty blue and white columbine. Its pretty little face was down towards the ground so when i took the picture it captured the trees above. I just love it.
Gorgeous color. These Iris came from my aunt Lonnie's place in Northern Cali. She shared them with me on  one of my trips home for a visit.
Mrs. Blue Jay has 5 eggs now. It is fun watching how attentive dad blue Jay is to her. Feeding her and watching over her.
Some more pics of that really pretty Iris.
I am always out watering in the evenings and this evening I got them to come out and sit on the patio and keep me company. Gonna have to get some rock salt so we can make some homemade ice cream one of these days soon.

Country Living

This was Miss D's plate on Mothers Day for breakfast. Joe made waffles and I made a fresh Peach sauce to go on top. With an egg and some smokey links. Of course a few oranges on the side. She was very happy and declared there was no way she could eat it all. But her plate was cleaned.
These pretty yellow and purple Iris opened in the back on Mothers Day. I have been having fun watching as all the Iris open and show their pretty faces. The resident have been enjoying too. It so nice. I love the creativity of our God for all the beauty He puts in to the flowers.
Love the view from the dining room table. It is sunny and they love to look out and watch the birds and the farming in the field across the road and flowers. It is a wonderful way to start the day.

GOD"S BEAUTY IN OUR YARD

Lilacs and star flowers are white and elegant.
Iris in all their purple splendor and beauty. Can't wait for all the others to bloom.
Spring is springing up all kinds of splashes of color in Gods wonderful masterpieces. The birds are nesting and laying their effs and the flowers are popping open in majestic splendor that only our creator could make. Can't wait to see the beauty of Heaven.

A pretty smile

Miss D looked so pretty today. I had to take a picture and share. Her sweet smile and hugs are always an encouragement to have her sweet smiles and hugs during the day. Or when she tells you how much you mean to here and thank you's for all we do for her. She has been a blessing to us here in our home. I love you miss D

Odds and Ends

The front Patio roof after Joe got it all painted. Sure looks nice. I really appreciate all he does to keep things looking nice.
Lil Monkey faces in our flower bed. Cute lil buggers. These are some of the ladies favorites too.
We had to put in a new wheel chair ramp and Joe is getting it painted. will look nice when it is all done.
Freshly mowed yard makes the place spiffy. Love the green of spring. Can't wait for the iris to bloom.
Welcome to our home! In these pages are some of the fun memories with your loved ones.

Thank you so much for sharing them with us and intrusting them into our care. They are very dear to our hearts. We laugh together and cry together and Praise God together.

We are happy to serve our community here in Michigan. We take private and state pay residents ages 60 and up. This is God's home and it has been dedicated to Him in loving service.

We are a family here. Your loved ones come be in a family setting instead of a formal home. Stop in for a visit and see what we are like and get to know us a bit.

We also have family worship which they are welcome to attend if they choose. With singing and guitar.
May God richly bless all of you, and maranatha! Jesus is coming!
