Cookies cookies cookies

When I started out the day making cookies I really didn't realize I was going to be in the kitchen making cookies until 5:00pm I started making cookies at 8:00am. We now have 17 gallon bags full of cookies in the freezer and a couple containers full. I think we should have plenty of cookies to go around for the open house. We have peanut butter, oatmeal raisin, cranberry orange oatmeal, white chocolate chip with cranberries and walnuts, chocolate chip, coffee fruit drops, (well those were for my sweetie), coconut oatmeal crunchies, butterscotch lace cookies. I think that about does it. I was going to make some snickerdoodles too but I just for some reason got tired of cookies. LOL
Our sister Sally came down for a visit and I was so grateful for her help. She bagged all the cookies and wrote on the bags. Thanks sis for all your help and helping the time pass more quickly.
Now among all the cookies there were meals to prepare and clean up and laundry to do and bathrooms to clean and my sweet little people to care for. It was for  sure a very busy day.
The last couple batches of cookies I finished up this morning. Joe snapped a couple pics. I will share one. It was early for pictures with  you. These are the coconut oatmeal crunchies. They have to chill in the fridge over night.
Here is our sister. I love you Sally. Thank you Thank you Thank you a million times over. I love you.

Welcome to our home! In these pages are some of the fun memories with your loved ones.

Thank you so much for sharing them with us and intrusting them into our care. They are very dear to our hearts. We laugh together and cry together and Praise God together.

We are happy to serve our community here in Michigan. We take private and state pay residents ages 60 and up. This is God's home and it has been dedicated to Him in loving service.

We are a family here. Your loved ones come be in a family setting instead of a formal home. Stop in for a visit and see what we are like and get to know us a bit.

We also have family worship which they are welcome to attend if they choose. With singing and guitar.
May God richly bless all of you, and maranatha! Jesus is coming!
